OnlyFord BYLAWS
Section 1) Joining Requirements
- Once a member, you cannot hold an officer position if you are also an officer or Board member of another car club.
- Once “branded”/badged, you must only have the “OnlyFord” Badge visible on your car, preferably the windshield.
- Members must be 18 or older.
- The vehicle MUST be a Ford Powered vehicle to join.
Section 2) Decal/badge
- OnlyFord decal/badge/banner is to be placed somewhere visible from the outside of the vehicle.
- OnlyFord oval decal/badge is to be placed on the outside of the windshield with the exception of the back window of a truck or 4x4 vehicle, or vent window of a Cobra.
- Membership Fees are paid with your chapter’s Officers or online at http://onlyford.org before receiving your Badge.
- New members can be badged in on a separate date from the general meetings if they cannot attend the specified meeting.
Section 3) Member Expectations
- OnlyFord decal is to be placed on the windshield or side window.
- All members are to conduct themselves respectfully and courteously and not bring an undesirable image to OnlyFord. All members will cooperate and be courteous with sister chapters and clubs. All members must conduct themselves in a professional and friendly manner when dealing with the public. Members represent the “OnlyFord” brand.
- OnlyFord has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, sexual harassment, and fighting.
- OnlyFord defines harassment as aggressive pressure or intimidation, etc.
- OnlyFord defines sexual harassment as making unwelcome and inappropriate sexual remarks or physical advances, etc.
- OnlyFord defines fighting as attempting to make physical contact with another person by hitting (with or without an object), punching, kicking, slapping, full-force ramming, or body slamming. All members will respect each other and not cause conflicts.
- NO DRIVING IF YOU HAVE BEEN DRINKING ALCOHOL.
- If you know you will drink, please have a Designated Driver.
Section 4) Member Misconduct Policy
- If any member does not follow the Member Expectations outlined in our bylaws, disciplinary actions will occur, e.g.:
- Verbal Warning
- Demotion
- Termination
- The member may potentially banned from ALL OnlyFord Chapters.
- As a member of OnlyFord, you represent more than just yourself; you represent a company that drives to bring communities closer with humbleness and passion for cars.
Section 5) Side Shows & Law Enforcement
- OnlyFord is both family-oriented and law enforcement-friendly. That means while at meets/shows, we will conduct ourselves as responsible individuals and will not participate in any sideshow activities (burnouts/donuts). We do not condone members participating in sideshow events.
- If you are found to have participated in sideshow events, you will be de-badged and terminated.
Section 6) Events and meets.
- ABSOLUTELY NO LITTERING AT ALL TIMES, AT ANY MEETS OR MANDATORY EVENTS. Throw your trash away at the designated areas or put it in your car till you can properly dispose of it.
- Be respectful of yourself, others and the environment you are in.
- Mandatory events usually mean a significant event in which we need many volunteers to make the event successful. Mandatory events are not for us to force you to attend. It's about showing love, support, and dedication to OnlyFord and getting to know each other on a family level. We do understand not everyone can attend all the time. Life happens, but communication is critical. Especially in our voting or when we ask ahead of time who can attend.
- Any member who is found conducting themselves in a manner that is negatively representing the club will be subject to:
- Verbal Warning
- Demotion
- Removal from Chapter and Potentially Banned from ALL OnlyFord Chapters.
Section 7) Inactivity
- If a member has been inactive for 90 days since their last received communication, the President, Vice President, or Sergeant at Arms will contact you to discuss your status.
- Failure to communicate after initial contact will result in a vote amongst the Board of directors to determine if the person should:
- Receive a warning.
- Or be de-badged and removed from the club.
- The Board of directors can make exceptions on a case-by-case basis or standard exceptions listed below:
- The car is actively being repaired.
- The car is actively being upgraded.
- The car was sold.
- Work
- School
- Family
- Conflicts with childcare
- Injuries/Medical/Illness
- Vacations
- Military Service
- Loss of work
- Financial hardship
- Communication is fundamental. You will be terminated from the Club if you do not pay your Annual Dues.
Section 8) Voting
- Club voting will be conducted in person at a meeting or by proxy with permission from the executive board.
- All items that are brought up for a vote will pass with a two-thirds vote.
- If the items mentioned for a vote do not reach a two-thirds vote, the Board of directors and the Executive Committee will vote for the outcome..
Section 9) Club Dues
- The club fee will be $30. Annually, it must be completed before badging. Member payment can be made in person to the President, Vice President or the Treasurer in cash, or a check made out to OnlyFord, or at http://OnlyFord.org
- Members will vote at monthly meetings on spending. Examples of club dues to be used for:
- Designated Charity
- Club Dinners/Parties
- Meets and Events
- Trophies
- Food
- Club Equipment
- Marketing Materials
- Group photos
- Members in Need
Section 10) OnlyFord General Meetings
- These meetings will be for all club members, including the Board of directors.
- Not all meetings will be required. However, we will have some discussions that everyone is expected to attend, whether in person, zoom or via Facebook.
- We strongly suggest attending to voice opinions, concerns, event ideas, etc.
- Meetings will cover the following items:
- Club event planning and attending events.
- Merchandise ideas and fulfill orders.
- Determining how club funds will be used.
- Recruiting
- Badging in new members
- Club issues/concerns, etc.
Section 11) Executive Committee and Roles Descriptions
- Committee positions are as follows:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Sergeant at Arms
- Road Captain
- The President and Vice President will select committee members.
- If at any point any Executive committee member is believed to have misrepresented the club members, a vote will be called to determine if they will be removed from their position.
- If voting passes for an Executive committee member removal, the President and Vice President will determine who else they believe will be suited for that position. The person selected by the President and Vice President will be placed for vote. If the President and Vice President cannot determine who will take that vacant position, a vote will be set to determine who the members feel will best suit that position.
President
- Serves for two years and cannot be appointed more than two consecutive terms.
- Represents the club and its members.
- Organizes and creates a structure for the company.
- Oversees the daily operations of the company.
- Delegate tasks to other officers and members.
- Signs major contracts, and legal documents
- Has the final vote when voting results are split 50/50
Vice President
- Serves for two years and cannot be appointed more than two consecutive terms.
- Is appointed by the President unless already appointed by the Founding Members.
- Represent the club and its members.
- Assists the President
- Organizes and creates a structure for the Chapter.
- Delegate tasks to other officers and members.
- Serves as Acting President if the President is unable to serve or has stepped down until a new Vice President is appointed.
Treasurer
- Serves for two years and cannot be appointed more than two consecutive terms.
- Maintains the tracking of club funds.
- Manages club funds with Executive Committee approval and input.
- Notifies members when they are behind on paying club funds/dues.
- Updates committee on all deposits and withdrawals of club funds
- Reports delinquent members after two months of no renewal of fee.
Secretary
- Serves for two years and cannot be appointed more than two consecutive terms.
- He/she is responsible for assuring the company stays in compliance with both regulatory and statutory requirements .
- Executing all of the decisions, resolutions and changes put forth by the corporation's Board of Directors
- Supervises meetings and elections
Sergeant at Arms
- Serves for one year and cannot be appointed more than two consecutive terms.
- Upholds all rules and bylaws of the club.
- Keeps and maintains the order of the club.
- Delegates tasks to members as needed for specific projects with help.
- Reports members who don't follow the bylaws to the Committee.
- Follows up with inactive members as directed from the treasurer.
Road Captain
- Serves for one year and cannot be appointed more than of two consecutive terms.
- Creates all club routes for all events.
- Maintains the order of the lineup during a cruise to a specified location.
- Coordinates parking for all events and meets.
- Coordinates meet-up spots specific to members' location/city of residence.
- Ensures no member(s) are left behind while the club travels to and from events, meets, and cruises.
